Key Milestones

2005

  • The Regency Suites at Tiong Bahru is a mixed development with a spa theme and comprises one 36 storey block of 84 units 2 to 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses with roof terrace, 20 units of SOHO, basement carpark, club house, swimming pool and ancillary facilities. The project is based on Design-and-Build concept and is expected to complete in 2008.
  • The One-North Condominium is a new concept condominium in Central Xchange in the one-north technology hub embracing sate-of-the-art intelligence technology to facilitate seamless communication within the development. The project comprises nine blocks of 1 to 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses with roof terrace (total 412 units), basement carpark, club house, swimming pool and ancillary facilities. The project is based on Design-and-Build concept and is expected to complete in October 2008.
  • The SouthBank Condominium is a project involves the re-development of the existing Eng Cheong Tower along North Bridge Road. The new mixed development comprises one 40-storey block of 197 units of apartments and penthouses with roof terrace, 60 units of SOHO, 16 units of retail units, multi-storey carpark podium, club house, swimming pool and ancillary facilities. The project commenced in March 2006 and is expected to complete in March 2009.

2004

  • The Novena Suites, a premium condominium conveniently located within walking distance from the popular Novena Square and United Square retail/commercial complexes and the Novena MRT Station. It comprises one 15-storey apartment block consisting of 92 units of 1 to 2 bedroom apartments, penthouses with roof terraces, basement carpark, club house, swimming pool and ancillary facilities. Work commenced in July 2002 and was completed in May 2004.
  • The Marbella ,a high end condominium project set in the exclusive and idyllic Mount Sinai district. The development comprises three 22/24 storey blocks of 2 to 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses with roof terrace (total 239 units), basement carpark, club house, swimming pool and ancillary facilities.Work commence in Apr 2003 and was completed in February 2005.
  • The Twin Regency, a condominium in Tiong Bahru comprising two 36 storey apartment blocks of 2 to 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses with roof terrace (total 234 units), basement carpark, clubhouse, swimming pool and full ancillary facilities. The project is based on Design-and-Build concept and is expected to complete in March 2007.
  • An alteration-and-addition project, Novena Square (Extension), involving the addition and upgrading of retail outlets and general refurbishment of the popular Novena Square retail/commercial complex. When completed, the works will give an overall facelift to the development and further enhance its prestigious status amongst the retail/commercial developments in Singapore. Work commenced in March 2005 and is expected to complete in February 2007.
  • A condominium at Delta Road comprising two 23 storey blocks of 1 to 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses with roof terrace (total 141 units), basement carpark, clubhouse, swimming pool and ancillary facilites.The project is based on Design-and-Build concept and is expected to complete in August 2007.

2003

  • An executive condominium project in Tampines New Town, The Eden with 2 to 4 bedroom dwelling units (total 430 units), penthouses with roof terraces, basement carpark, club house, swimming pool and ancillary facilities, Valued at $69.4 mi, the Design and Build Project was completed in February 2003.
  • A HDB Design-and Build project in Sengkang New Town encompassing the full architectural structural, civil, electrical and mechanical design of nine 22/25 sotrey blocks of public housing apartments (total 888 units). It also includes a multi-storey carpark with an utilities centre, service roads and drains, a central landscape garden with two-precinct pavilion and two playgrounds. Value at $75.36 m work was completed in March 2003.
  • A high-end condominium project set in exclusive and idyllic Mount Sinai district. The development comprises three 22/24 storey apartment blocks with 2 to 4 bedroom dwelling units (total 239 units), penthouses with roof terrace, basement carpark, club house, swimming pool and ancillary facilities.Valued at $57.1 m, work commenced in April 2003 and is expected to be completed in February 2005
  • A luxurious residential developemtn in Beirut Central District, Beirut, Lebanon, with a commanding view of the marina along the Mediterranean coastline. Value at US$54 m, work commenced in Jul 2003 and is expected to be completed at end 2005.
  • A 6 storey high-end retail development with 2 basement levels, fully and seamlessly integrated with the premier Paragon Shopping Centre, Valued at $4.7 m, work commenced in March 2002 and was completed in August 2003.
  • A 12-storey office building along the famous Orchard Road commercial and retail belt. The works involve the addition, alteration and refurbishment including the extension of the office unit and re-cladding of the façade. Valued at $5.65 m, work commenced in February 2003 and was completed in September 2003.

  • Completed the Keppel Distripark

1992

  • Registered as a top-grade G8 contractor with the CIDB, our diversification into the public sector has been extremely successful.
  • Completed Phase 1 of the $153 million luxury condominium project at Tanjong Rhu, comprising 420 units.
  • The No. 1 Blamoral Road $19.3 million low-storey condominium in the prime residential district of Balmoral Road was completed as scheduled in 1992. It is an outstanding landmark with just 42 exclusive apartments.

1991

  • LKHS and its three consortium partners won the URA tender to develop the historic CHIJ site against other major contenders. The consortium submitted a bid of $26.8 m.

1990

  • Redevelopment and restoration of eight units of pre-war shophouses in Tanjong Pagar – to set up Duxton Hotel, a luxurious “boutique” hotel.
  • Awarded the highest preferential margin to date of 2.8% under the CIDB Preferential Margin for Construction Quality Scheme (“Premium Scheme”). This award is given to companies with consistently good work quality and it allows them pricing advantage in tendering for public sector projects.

1989

  • Completion of New Tech Park, a $67 m 6 storey industrial building specially-designed for hi-tech manufacturing which is the first-of-its-kind in Singapore.

1987

  • LKHS was awarded the Certificate of Merit for the construction of the $120 m 30 storey MAS Building (Commercial Buildings Category).

1986

  • Completion of Mandarin Gardens Condominium, a $217m residential project comprising nine blocks of 23-storey apartment buildings and eight blocks of 6-9 storey apartment buildings, totaling 1,006 units.

1984

  • Registered a top-grade contractor with the CIDB, a stutory body formed under the Ministry of National Development (MND).

1982

  • Completion of the $210m 9-storey SIA Engineering Hangar, one of the world’s wides column free hangers, at Changi International Airport.

1980

Completion of the 40 storey Mandarin Hotel Extension, a $60 m project.


1976

  • LKHS completed the $65 m 52 storey OCBC Centre, which was then the tallest office building in Singapore
  • Completion of TAS Comcentre substructure LKHS’ first major government project.
